End-of-Summer Greetings Dear Community,
Yesterday was September 1st. It was our last day of summer and it was a completely different day than the day before. Thank you, we needed that as we were definitely not feeling ready for summer to close.
The gift of a significantly cooler day, a robust breeze, more acorns hitting the shed roof, more leaves floating on the surface of the water, a having it just a bit too chilly to keep up our daily pond swims…gifts. So were the osprey, and small chats with neighbors, and the new crunch underfoot—a Fall sound as the madrone bark and leaves begin to carpet the ground under us…I am so grateful for the daily beauty and community I am immersed in and how wonderful that I get to welcome you to share it with me.
I had a superb summer of all things ocean and beach as well as swimming, friends, lots of special times with my girl, and plenty of play and projects. I am back in Ashland, grounded and preparing for all of the gatherings and events planned, for the readying of the land for colder times…I really do chop wood and carry water!
Fall is prep time, it’s harvest time, its grounding time. It’s time in all of the wild cords from summer and setting the tone for the winter. SO, let’s set our tone together, let’s prepare the ground for a rich winter of inner work and contemplation balanced with action and care for the world.
Whatever you decided to participate in, its all the same invitation– come, find your ground, go deep, do it in community. to you, whatever you decide to register for it’s all the same invitation—come, find your ground, go deep, do it in community. I so hope you will hear the call to gather for one of the groups—online or in-person options and of course monthly Constellation events, a free Private Constallation and always, sessions with me. I am also offering 2 events in town in September and October—great chance to bring our community into the wider community—I hope you’ll mark your calendars and join!
