It was amazing to see so many cathedrals, castles, and ancient sites on my recent trip to England, Scotland and Wales. Now that I’m home, I realize it is all an effort to imitate the majesty of nature — the vastness of the ocean, the miracle of a bubbling spring, the sound of wind rustling oak leaves…holy, holy, holy. No human-built cathedral can quite capture this, but we do keep trying don’t we? That’s all. xx
